We are a small French structure dealing with overseas cruising holidays.
A first vessel must be carried out at the end of year 2004. This 30 meter long
gullet, consisting in 8 large passenger cabins, will sail with 6 crew members
for 10-day cruises, mainly for coastal sailing through Indian Ocean islands.
She must preferably be brand new, but the hull for instance can be already
existing. Standards of construction and material will depend on cost
evaluation.
Our requirements are as follows :
- Old fashion style and raw materials,
- A maximum olf 1,70 m load draugt,
- Sail area designed for ar least 5 knots with a force 3 wind
- Engine must have a cruising speed of 8 knots (at 75 % power)
- Widely designed fuel and water tanks, due to uncertainty of local supply,
At delivery ship will have to comply with international legal regulations.
