We want to charter a 5,000 MT vessel for one year. Chemical/oil tanker with
below specifications;
The oil product tanker vessel(s) for the storage and delivery of the Marine
Gas Oil will comply as a minimum with rules, standard and conventions
applicable to the type of vessel (SOLAS, MARPOL, Load Lines, COLREG, STCW,
ISM...). It will also be conform to a Classification Society which shall be
as a minimum a member of IACS, rules as well as to COMPANY Marine Vetting
Procedures.
The vessel must have the International Air Pollution Prevention Certificate
(IAPP Certificate) from MARPOL 73/78 Annex VI "Regulations for the
Prevention of Air Pollution from Ships" as well as SOLAS maritime safety
requirements.
The vessel shall not be older than 20 years by the end of the CONTRACT
period for which all relevant certificates shall remain valid.
No major repair, maintenance or dry dock shall be scheduled during at least
six month from the commencement of the CONTRACT.
In accordance with COMPANY's Marine Vetting Procedure vessel acceptance
will be subject to prior inspection of the vessel by COMPANY's nominated
independent surveyor. The basis of the inspection will be according to
OCIMF standard for oil product tanker vessels. Vessels which do not comply
with this standard will not be accepted. " |
