ONE OF OUR CLIENTS WANT TO PLACE AN ORDER FOLLOWING NEW BUILDING OF 
VESSELS.

- TWO FIRE FIGHTING BOATS --
1 GENERAL
THE BOAT REQUIRED TO OPERATE AT OPEN SEA AND HARBOURS IN TROPICAL CLIMATE 
CONDITIONS AND FOR FOLLOWING SUITABLE :

A FIRE FIGHTING ON BOARD V.I.C.C. AND CARGO VESSELS AND OTHER TYPES OF FIRES.

B. MARINE SALVAGE WORK íŽíŽíŽíŽíŽ.

2. THE BOAT TO BE ALL WELDED SHIPBUILDING STEEL CONSTRUCTION AND TO BUILT TO 
CLASS AND EQUIPPED WITH ALL SAFETY MEASURES TO RENDER IT SUITABLE FOR USE IN 
OIL AND GAS TERMINALS (BY CLASS) WITH NOTATION AS FOLLOWS : B.V. 13/3

5. MACHINERY

A.	THE BOAT TO BE OPERATED BY TWIN SCREW FOUR STORKE
IN LINE, WELL KNOWN MARINE DIESEL ENGINES
B.	TO FIT TWO (2) GENERATORS SETS EACH ONE TO MEET ALL ELECTRICAL LOAD 
WHILE THE OTHER AS STAND BY DRIVEN BY FOUR (4) STROKE IN LINE MARINE DIESEL 
ENGINES, WELL KNOWN TYPES
C.	TO FIT ONE (1) HARBOUR GENERATOR TO BE SUFFICIENT CAPACITY FOR A A/C 
AND LIGHTING
D.	THE BOAT TO BE EQUIPPED WITH AC, 3 P, 380V, 50 HZ ELECTRIC SUPPLYING 
SYSTEM AND 220V, AC  FOR LIGHTING 21V DC FOR EMERGENCY.
E.	ALARM SYSTEM IN THE ENGINE ROOM TO BE PROVIDED.
6. NAVIGATION BRIDGE
TO BE EQUIPPED WITH ALL NECESSARY FITTINGS AND GUAGES FOR REMOTE CONTROL OF 
ENGINES. THE BOAT TO BE FITTED WITH NAVIGATIONAL AID INCLUDING DGPS, ECHO 
SOUNDER RADAR, VHF, GYRO COMPASS, ETC
7. FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT
THE BOAT SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING FIRE PUMPS
A.	3 NOS. OF 600 M/H AT 100M HEAD MULTI STAGE FIRE PUMPS EACH PUMP TO BE 
COUPLED TO THE MAIN ENGINES OR THE PUMPS ARE DRIVEN BY DIEESEL ENGINES THROUGH 
A HAND OPERATED CLUTCH
B.	SUCTION PIPES TO BE ARRANGED SUCH THAT SUCTION CAN BE DONE FOR 
SALVAGE OR FIRE FIGHTING PURPOSES, AND FIRE ALARM & SELF PROTECTION SYION 
SYSTEM TO THE E/R AND WHERE IT IS NECESSARY IN THE BOAT BY A CO2 SYSTEM AND 
THAT IN CASE OF FIRE IN THE BOAT.
C.	MONITORS
1.	THE BOAT TO BE FITTED WITTED WITH FOUR FIXED MONITORS FORWARD, AFT 
AND AMIDSHIP
2.	ONE MONITOR FITTED ON A TOWER 6 M HEIGHT ABOVE THE WHEEL HOUSE.
3.	ALL MONITORS TO BE MANUAL CONTROL
4.	EACH MONITORS TO BE FOR FOAM AND WATER JET
5.	FOAM OUTPUT WITH FOUR MONITORS SHOULD BE ABOUT 60 MINUTES, TANK TO BE 
STAINLESS STEEL
D.	ON EACH SIDE OF THE BOAT THERE SHOULD BE A (50) M OF HOSE REEL FOG & 
JET NOZZLE TYPE.
E.	SUCTION INLETS OPLETS OPENS DIRECTLY TO GIVE HIGH FLOW AT HIGH 
PRESSURE SUITABLE TO FEED ALL THE PIPING AND THE OUTLETS ON THE BOAT.
F.	SPECIAL PIPING TO BE FIXED WITH THE EQUIPMENT FOR THE HIGH EXPANSION 
FOAM SUPPLED WITH 2 TON LIQUID, AND OUTLETS  TO BE PUT WITH THE EQUIPMENT FOR 
OIL POLLUTION WITH ONE TON LIQUID.
COOLING SYSTEM TO BE PUT TO PROTECT THE BOAT BODY FROM HEAT AND FIRES.
G.	SPECIAL COMPLETE FOAM COMPOUND SYSTEM TO BE CONNECTED TO THE MAIN 
PUMPS BY A SPECIAL TYPE OF PUMPING TO SUCK THE LIQUID FROM (20 TONS) STORAGE 
TANK AND PUSH IT TO THE ABOVE MONITORS.
H.	AIR COMPRESSOR CONNECTED TO A SPECIAL PIPING WITH TWO INDIVIDUAL 
POINT ON THE DECT USE FOR AUTOMATIC RECHARGES TO FILL AIR BOTTLES THAT USED 
WITH THE BREATING APPARATUS SETS, AND THIS SYSTEM MUST BE SUPPLIED WITH 30 B. A 
SETS COMPLETE WITH SPARE PARTS
I.	SPECIAL CONTROL PANELS TO BE FIXED FOR THE COMMUNICATION PURPOSES 
BETWEEN THE COMMANDERS AND THE OPERATORS IN CASE OF FIRES OR OTHER INCIDENTS.
J.	THE BOAT SHOULD BE SUPPLIED WITH 4 DEEP LIFT PUMPS COMPLETE WITH 
SUCTION HOSES AND OTHER IMPORTANT EQUIPMENT.
K.	THE BOAT BE SUPPLIED WITH 3 NOS WALK-TALKY SETS.
L.	SUPERVISION OF ISWT ENGINEERS THROUGHTOUT THE CONSTRUCTION PERIOD, 
PLUS SPECIAL HIGH TRAINING FOR SUITABLE PERIOD ON (HOW TO OPERATE ALL THE 
SYSTEM OF THE BOAT) MUST BE GIVE BY THE BUILDERS TO (6) FIREMEN ALL EXPENSES TO 
BE BORNE BY SELLER
M.	ALL MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT TO BE OF EUROPEAN STANDARD OR JAPANESE 
ORIGIN MAKE.
N.	DIVING EQUIPMENT (COMPLETE) FOR 3MEN TO BE SUPPLIED.
O.	CRANE OF 2-3 TONS CAPACITY AND 2 M OUT REACH TO BE FITTED TO THE REAR 
OF THE BOAT.
P.	TURN TABLE LADDLE OF(30-40M) TO BE FIEXED ON THE BOAT FOR RESCUE AND 
FIRE FIGHTING PURPOSES.

	THE ABOVE SPECIFICATION IS ONLY OUTLINE THE FULL DETAIL SPECIFICATION 
WITH GENERAL ARRANGEMENT PLAN SCALE 1:100 TO BE SUBMITTED WITH THE OFFER, IF 
NOT INCLUDED THE OTHER WILL REFUSED. PLEASE OFFER WITH EQUIPMENTS RECOMMENDED 
BY SHIPBUILDER.
