Slipways: Two newbuilding slipways for 30,000 and 15,000 DWT equipped with one
set of 120-ton and two sets of 40-ton gantry cranes.
Quays: The river front stretches over 2000 meters. The yard has a 1180-meter
long and 20 m wide outfitting quay , the front water depth being 8-14 meters
and the main navigation channel 30 meters
Cranes: On this quay there are 7 sets of 25-ton and 30-ton shore cranes and 2
sets of 100-ton and 60-ton floating cranes.
Shiprepair & Conversion
Chengxi Shipyard is mainly engaged in shiprepairing, newbuilding, steel
construction, offshore units repairing and electromechanical equipment
fabrication. The yard is rich in shiprepairing and newbuilding facilities and
equipment.

Hull & Dock Repair: Large Steel Renewal, Hull derusting, Hull Painting, Hatch
covers, propellers, CCP & Rudder dismantling.
Machinery & Electrical Repair: Electric Equipment, Main Engine repair,
Meteorological Instruments installation, Propeller and Rudder machining,
cranes, Large Boiler repair and replacement.
Piston machining, Crankshaft grinding, Metal Thermal Spraying, Turbocharger,
RHD Series Governor Maintenance, Chemical cleaning, etc.
Ship Conversion:
Conversion of 20,000 ton Fishing base vessel M/V Slavjansk.
Conversion of 18,000ton Bulk Carrier M/V Fujisan Maru, Darya Shaan, M/V Darya
Jaan into Selfloading & Unloading Cement carrier
Special Repair: Oil Water Treatment, Tank Coating.
Ship Spare Parts: Gangway, Lifeboats, Rubber packing, Anchor Chain,

Ship Building
Chengxi Shipyard has two slipways for building the vessels up to 30,000 DWT
and 15,000 DWT respectively, and the yard also has one set of 50 ton crane and
one set of 120 ton and 40 ton gantry cranes. CS is capable of building
different class of vessels and has built around 100 vessels till now.
Some shipbuilding equipment: Steel pre-treatment Line, Plasma cutting Machine,
150 ton ship section transporter, NC Pipe bender, 600 ton Hydraulic Press,
Paint Cell, Block site for shipbuilding, CAD for shipbuilding.
