Iran (IDRO) with eight dry berths covering 120,000 sqm area for
shipbuilding, ship repair and offshore activities and is equipped with high
standard facilities which is now in a line of capability to grade up works.
Facilities:
-Fresh & sea water hook ups.
-Overall area of 1,100 hectares.
-Quay wall, of 340 M long.
-Floating dock, 240 M long, 52 M breadth, with lifting capability up to 28,000
ton, which can lift vessels of up to 80,000 dwt.
-Syncrolift (Ship lift & Transfer System) with capability of up to 11,000 ton,
which can lift vessels up to 28,000 dwt.
-Shipyard Basin, with an area of 380 hectares, entrance span of 400 M, average
depth of 8.5 M.
-2 Jetties, 335M & 180 M long, plus two ship lift jetties of 172 M long each
for repairs, loading and unloading.
-18 Workshops, with the most advanced machinery & industrial equipments.
-Acetylene, Oxygen and Compressed air plants.
-Cranes capacity, of 150 ton, 100 ton and 40 ton.

New building: 4 units/year up to 30,000 DWT.
Repairs: 120 units/year up to 80,000 DWT.
Offshore: 30,000 ton steelwork.
