BRIEF HISTORY: 1966
1970 Beginning of this company under the
name of ELITE ENGHINEERING AND FOUNDRY
in which company was making
Agriculture Machineries and Spare parts.
Looking to the revolution
coming in future of Fisheries, company developed to
manufacture Marine
spare parts, winches, Steering Console, ottor boards, Ice
Crusher machine,
different kind of pullies Gland for Rudder, Throttle Control,
hand Bilge
pump etc. of fishing Trawler. This company had taken work of
National and
International Flag ships, and made river damm gate by using their
own
technology which is working very smooth today.
1977 This year Company
has started his new unit under the name of ELITE
SHIPAYRD [BOAT BUILDING
DIVISION] in which company has manufactured Wooden
Fishing Boat by
developing its own design to ease and effective fishing can
happened. That
’s Way Company has attended the pre-eminent position among the
fraternity
in ship builders. Company has started manufacturing Wooden Cargo
Vessel
this year, initially company could build 200 MT carrying capacity Wooden
Cargo Vessel today it can build up to 2000 MT. This company’s made Wooden
Cargo
Vessels are plying in between Indian and Arabian Sea. Company is
developed
every infrastructure facility to build Wooden Fishing Trawler and
Wooden Cargo
Vessel in its yard and having very experience carpenters and
supervisors.
1980 This year Company has started its new unit under
the name of ELITE
SHIPYARD PVT. LTD. in which company is manufacturing
Fiberglass Reinforced
Plastic fishing Canoes and Boats. It was the first
ever unit started
manufacturing FRP boat in Gujrat State. Company had
developed its own design
mould to build boat suitable to the sea of our
area and according to the
requirement of local fishermen practice. Company
is developed other moulds to
build Fishing Boats, Pleasure Boats, paddle
Boats, Ferry Service Boats, Sail
Boats, Rescue Boats etc. and invested a
very big volume of amount to develop
every infrastructure facility
available in yard.
No wonder the company has attended the pre-eminent
position among the
fraternity in ship builders as well exporters in it
short time. That is the
reason why company has achieved a target of
supplied 640 Wooden, FRP & Steel
Boat of various sizes from 4 ft to 55 ft
for various utilities and also has
manufactured 12 Wooden Cargo Vessel.
Presently all these Cargo Vessels are
plying in Gulf area.
1992 This Company emerged into fish processing plant under the name of
ELITE
SHIPYARD [FROZEN FOOD DIVISION] looking to the market potential in
this
industry. Initial capacity was 8 tons per day which are today 32
tones.
